For the Love: A Recession Session

Itching to have your portrait taken (or that of someone you love...)?

The economy may suck, but that doesn't mean your Valentine's Day has to. And Valentine's Day may stink (Singles), but that doesn't mean your Saturday has to.

On Saturday, February 14th, Wes Johnson Photography is hosting a

RECESSION SESSION.

From 10 AM to 4 PM, Wes will be in his studio—lights on and camera ready—to take the portrait of anyone who steps in front of the lens.

For $10 dollars.

Visit Wes's blog HERE for full details. I'm totally going! (Although, I am pretty sure he won't charge me the $10...)

That's an awesome deal. I don't live in AZ but I have family there so I'll definitely pass the word! :)

Oh, how I would soooo love to! I'll have to stay in Texas... Please tell Wes I think that's a very generous offer, tho!

Oh my goodness. I wish I lived in your neck of the woods, I would totally be there.

And you are gorgeous!

I want to live in AZ so I can come! I would love to have Wes take the boys photos. Plus it wouldn't suck to go somewhere where the temp HIGH is NOT in the "upper single digits" Weather.com's words, not mine. Bet you miss Rochester now! haha OH Well, maybe some day we will get the families together. Luke turns 2 on Friday the 13th, and we are having a little party for him on Saturday. But I'll be thinking of you.

If I can drag the Englishman out of bed we will be there...and if not, I may just bring the kids.
Beautiful photo as always.

The colors in your picture are fab! And you look cute...no not right word...you are easy breezy cover girl worthy!

Wish we were locals....ten bucks...that's a steal. I'd be all over that...especially on V-day. How sweet!

I wish i lived in AZ to go! Beautiful picture, and how do you get your eyebrows like that? stylist?

WOW! You might not know who I am, but I'm in your ward and I've seen your hubby's work...and it's amazing! I am definitely getting the husband and the dog together for family pics by wes!!! Thanks for the info.

Eyebrows....hmmmm. They do look good in that picture. Ha! I am afraid they don't always look like that. I do have naturally dark eyebrows, but I think a highlighter just under them made them look darker. I try not to over pluck, too. This was just a lucky shot--no stylist. Thanks for the compliment!

Lucky shot?! You are stunning! And not only from the outside- it shows from the inside too {you can just read it on your blog even though I've never met you!}

I am always put off by good looking people who have bad attitudes but I always admire down to earth people who also happen to be gorgeous {and don't feel the need to rub it in or act snooty because of it}. You are definitely a warm spirit!

And Wes's work is A•M•A•Z•I•N•G by the way! I ♥ all of the bright colors and different angles he uses to achieve the end result in his portfolio's. Absolutely wonderful work!

I wish we lived in Arizona! Ok, maybe not really since we just moved here to Texas from Louisiana a month ago and I'm still settling in- but if we did, I'd be there in a heart beat.... and I'd pay a whole lot more than $10! :-)

If I didn't live 700 miles away, I'd be there. I did tell my girlfriend that lives in Mesa about it though. I love the colors in your photo!

What a steal! I think if there's not too long of a line we will sneak over too. (And that is a great picture of you!)
