Double Double, Toil and Trouble

Ooooo, I love October! I am miffed, however, by the fact that it is the first time EVER that I have the PERFECT little fenced front yard (black iron fence, to boot), and I can't turn the yard into a graveyard. Pout. The sprinklers come on religiously at 11pm. And we can't change it, since we are renting. I would have a very soggy graveyard, indeed. But it is the first year that I have had a mantle.... hmmmmmm....

Here are some Octobery images to put us all in the Halloween spirit (however haunted that spirit may be, muwahahahahaha).

Homemade Trick or Treat bags:
Cutest masks ever:

I love the felt bats! We are making cheesecloth ghosts for our October Chicks in Aprons meeting. I might have to figure out the felt bats too. They can't be that hard!

Happy October!

What great ideas! Very cute pictures! Maybe you can come up with some sort of water-resistant Halloween decor for your yard... I'll keep my eyes & ears perked up and let you know if I find anything!
