Fun with Filters

I thought it would be interesting to take a few photos from our recent trip to Mesa and embellish them a bit. I added some textures and layers to enhance them. I did an online search for textures, then added them as layers in Photoshop. I erased bits, and layered a few textures at a time on some. I tried different color adjustments, and added French text to Tiffany's shot. A good site to visit for free, hi-res images to use as filters and layers, is Stock Exchange. Try it out! I'd love to see what you come up with.

A very happy birthday to this gorgeous girl, Tiffany:

I love them! I really need photoshop or some sort of photo editing software. The picture of you and Maya is so sweet.

Very nice effect with the pictures- I love the sort of aged look it gives them. Speaking of age, thanks for the Happy Birthday wish! I love being your sister in law and friend!

I love them! My favorite is the one of Tiffany, how beatiful! Happy birthday to Tiffany! People still talk about the hand massages she gave at my baby shower.

OK you've inspired me to try this layering thing. I just got Photoshop last week for my birthday...but I am intimidated! I haven't really used it yet. But I will!
