Before I met Wes I had strict criteria for someone being constituted as "the one." Basically I had to "just know" they were the one, preferably soon after meeting them. Maybe it sounds young and silly, but I am not kidding when I say that all my life, since probably second grade, I knew that I would "just know." The day I met Wes he said 2 words to me ("Hey, Notetaker."), and I immediately thought/felt, "Where have you been, and let's get going with our lives together!" By the end of our first date I "just knew." And I am so glad that I still do.

I love the "Love at first Smint" story! It was fun to watch you two fall in love. Weren't you Romeo and Juliet for your first Halloween?
Awww so cute! I love knowing that too!
Everyone in the branch knew you guys were the perfect couple, too. Even as a missionary, I knew it was obvious! Always glad to see it hasn't faded!
Awwwww. Sweet! What a great story you two have.
:)
awwww :) unlike you, I didn't expect to immediately "just know" but I did- it's interresting how that happens... Happy anniversary!
I agree wholeheartedly. When you know, you know.

I was so surprised when I saw your photo, our rings are so similar (though your nails aren't chewed like mine!) I have enjoyed visiting today, especially love your photos.
