I'm a believer

Maya has always loved to be swaddled. But she is almost 5 months now (What?! When the heck did that happen?). And as soon as I started weaning her from the Miracle Blanket, she started waking up 5-6 times a night. I was NOT up for a throwback to her newborn days. So I did what I always do in times of desperation at 3am with a wakeful baby. I turned to the internet for a mom inventor's genius idea. I found it! Maya has now moved on to bigger and better options. And by bigger, I mean puffy and pink. It's called Baby Merlin's Magic Sleepsuit. And while it is magical, the logo is atrocious, and of course embroidered boldly across the front of the suit. But I am willing to let that slide, because Maya is back to her blissful slumber, waking only twice between 8pm and 8am to nurse. So without further ado, here is Maya in her new {silly} suit that works wonders. Wes lovingly calls it her "Deep sea diver, stay-puff-marshmallow man, astronaut, ski, sumo wrestler, Michelin Man, Suit." (Notice I was able to fully open the shades to snap these shots and she didn't even budge!)

Who would have guessed that a puff suit would replace the miracle blanket. She still looks adorable!

Definitely looks like it could double as a life preserver at sea, but if the shoe fits...... baby needs her beauty sleep!

That's hilarious. I am wondering if that was/is Luthien's problem. Can 1-year old's wear them?!
