Supermom Series: THE MULTITASKER {EXPECTANT} MOM

This is Danyelle, of the blog Dandee. Not only is Danyelle a mother of 4, she is expecting another little bundle in March! And every photo posted of her "cozy brick house" looks remarkably organized and oh-so-inviting! And let me tell you—that is NOT easy with a prego belly and other kiddos to tend to. (All this while managing an Etsy shop, might I add...) Danyelle, how DO you do it, dear?

Staying organized can be a tricky thing. Here are some thoughts that popped into my head right away:

1. We never have dishes in the sink. Whether it's after a meal or a small snack with just one plate, all dishes are immediately loaded into the dishwasher. This helps keep the kitchen clean and tidy.

2. I have four children and one on the way so I couldn't live without my family resource binder, planner or calendars. The binder is fantastic because it has dividers for each member of the family. The children's school calendars, menus, permission slips, etc, get tucked into page protectors under their respective sections. That way there are no mountains of papers to file through every week. When something comes home from school it goes either in the binder or in the trash. I found my binder and dividers HERE . The best part: the inside cover is dry-erase! Perfect for list jotting.

3. My friend Jenny founded a sweet paper organizing company called LobotoME . Her MomME planner is one of my favorite things. There are spots on the planner for "me time" and menu plans, which I love. It's a nice visual to have in the kitchen for everyone to see what's going on for the day. You can find them HERE.

4. I don't do it alone. I don't mean to brag, but I have the most wonderful husband ever. We do dishes, laundry, and other house cleaning tasks as a team. Some weeks he's more diligent, and others I am. But together we make a pretty awesome team and I know I couldn't do any of the fun things I do without him.

Oh...I love everything about Danyelle and have actually ordered a few of her little lovelies from her etsy site. And....I want her bread recipe.

Great ideas...great tips for staying organized! I like the folder idea and I have been looking for a desktop calendar that is pretty.

I'm lucky too. My hubby is a team player too...just tonight I did laundry while he unloaded the dishwasher {without saying "what have you done all day?}!

Wonderfulness from Dandee, as always. I too live in a brick house but have an over-worked husband and no dishwasher so mine isn't quite as cute as hers...but the tips sure will help me try to be better. Thank you!

I can attest to Dandee being so dandy, since she first was my friend, then my niece (in-law) and now my next door neighbor!

She is just as cool and together as she looks.

I love her binder idea as well. I have a cute binder I bought for coupons. Well, I don't use it like I thought I would so it just sits on my desk... Not anymore. I'll be transferring her ideas into it for sure!
Thanks for your recent posts. This year my goal is to simplify and organize my life. I've gotten some great ideas and inspiration from your blog. Thanks!
