Ithaca is Gorges

Have you ever seen that bumper sticker? Probably not, if you have never been to upstate New York. Today we saw some beautiful scenery, complete with canyons (not gorges, but close enough). We went up to Eagar, AZ for Wes's Grandma Emma's funeral. It was beautiful. Every aspect.

Here's some road trippin' fun. (P.S. We're all deliriously tired because Finn slept a total of about 12 hours in the last 48. That's not enough for babies or parents to work with.)

Credit goes to Wes.

Where's Waldo?

Canyon. (Just to the left are cars, busses, and debris from motorists going off the windy road and into this canyon. YIKES.)

Hi, Tiff.

Hi, Wes.

Hi, Lynds. (Wes made fun of me for taking my own picture. But we all do it.)

Blustery day as we sent Ed, Eddie, and Juli off in the chopper. They were home in Lens Crafters time, we were home in Lord of the Rings Extended Edition time.

I've never heard of Eagar, AZ but it is breathtakingly beautiful.

I've got the t-shirt (Ithaca is Gorges). I worked at a Jewish Summer Camp for girls in Preston Park, Pennsylvania when I was 19 and we took a day trip to Ithaca. And yes, I still have the t-shirt.
