December to remember

This is our very baby-proof Christmas tree. I am not the kind of girl that picks a color scheme each Christmas and runs with it...I'm just not that "together." I don't do light shows in the front lawn that rival the Griswolds. I own NO INFLATABLE YARD SANTAS! But I do love Christmas, and the small tree we've had since our first Christmas together, and our eclectic assortment of ornaments I received at my bridal shower (and we've been collecting ever since). We have lots of candles lit around the house, a fire pit in the backyard (more on that TK...), and some stockings I made from felt hanging from the next best thing I could find to a mantle. I think the Danes would say it's very "hyggeligt" around our house these days. Now all we need is a day when I am not still wearing short sleeves, and my otherwise wintery picture will be complete!

PS—Wes shot a stellar, and snowy!, wedding in Seattle this past weekend. To see pics from the wedding, visit wesmanden.blogspot.com, and for a pic of Wes in a fly vest shooting the wedding, visit: http://nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/2007/12/seattle-part-1-weddingdinner.html and

I love that tree. I'm thinking a table tree over here next year...
And those wedding pics are just Amazing. I don't even think amazing does it justice.

What a cute little fun tree!
The snowy bride and groom picture is incredible and so romantic looking.

Hope some cooler weather finds you soon.

Your tree is so fun! My tree is baby-proofed too...the bottom 3 feet is completely bare! I love the pictures on Wes' blog in Seattle. I bet it made him appreciate an Arizona winter!
