I had some really amazing and specific music that I listened to when writing Fire of the Sea. I've been listening to it this morning, thinking about possibly writing a sequel (something I didn't think I would ever do, but hey—you never know). For now, have a listen to some of the songs that inspired my writing:

DeleteReally loved reading Fire of the Sea and hope you do feel inspired to write a sequel! I'd love to see what happens next for Aeva and Gunnar!
ReplyDeleteWhoops! I don't know that I have a favourite genre. I grew up loving sci-fi and fantasy, but will read most genres as long as the story is well written and holds my interest. My two favourite books are Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and a little known fantasy novel called Palace, by Katherine Kerr and Mark Kreighbaum.
ReplyDeleteMystery, drama, period, horror, YA, sci-fi, fantasy, romance, chick-lit, historical, whatever! I did read an Icelandic book earlier this year FYI, it was based on the historical events around the last woman to be capitally punished in Iceland. It was pretty amazing.
I enjoy reading mystery and historical fiction like with the Slaves and how brave they were.
