Wes just texted me from Wisconsin at a wedding he's shooting. This is the best text I have ever received:
Wes: I kid you not: a pier just collapsed under the weight of the entire wedding party, and THEY WENT UNDER, Bride and all—completely under water, screaming as they came out. I have pictures.
Me: SEND ONE!!! I hope it wasn't your idea to do the pier...
Wes: Not my idea.
Me: Good. Is the bride crying??
Me again: Can you snap a quick iPhone shot of wet people? That is freaking awesome.
OK, now I know I would not wish this on anyone (myself included), but when it spontaneously happens, I have to admit it sure makes for an exciting wedding (and a good chuckle). This stuff actually happens out side of 1990 Bob Saget shows? I WISH WISH WISH I had a photo to accompany this post. Wes said he will send me photos that he took with his actual camera tomorrow. I plan to post them, because clearly I must be evil. Don't turn that dial!
